The Pond of Berre is a particularly original environment, between wilderness and huge industrial and airport complexes. It’s in this small inland sea, linked to the Mediterranean by the Caronte canal, that men fish for noble species and eels, under the scorching sun or shaken by the wild mistral wind that jostles the boats and bites the flesh.
